Sabino Canyon

Explore Tucson’s Coronado National Forest and see a desert oasis more than 12 million years in the making. Take a tram to the top, or get a workout and reach the summit by hiking or biking your way to the top. You can choose from the Sabino Trail or the Bear Canyon Trail.

The Sabino Trail is a narrated educational tour that takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. You’ll get to enjoy Sabino Canyon via the tram, with several stops. There are many trails for hikers of all abilities, but all allow you to enjoy the unique views that Sabino Canyon has to offer visitors. Blackett’s Ridge Trail and the Telephone Line Trail are two of the most popular trails in Sabino Canyon.
